holy cow! talk about dream jobs!
i had seen confetti system before all around
the web and especially when urban outfitters started
selling their lovely party decor. but i had no idea it
was only a dynamic duo behind this incredible line.
thanks to the selby for bringing us a behind~the~scenes
look at their amazing workspace. i thouroughly
enjoyed it. i am seriously lusting after that
insane confetti anchor...must have : )
yes yes yes I know I know I know!! they stole my heart a while back....yes urban outfitters goodies. I wanted a pinata so so badly! Still do!! Maybe more so! :) Since high school I always said that when I have my own house I'd love to hand that metallic fringe stuff that you see at used car lots from tree to tree in my yard....It was sooo exciting when I found these two..I thought to myself...oh boy!! These two would totally get that idea!! :)

ReplyDeleteAnd The Confetti System rocks my socks off!
Are we not boycotting urban outfitters for consistently ripping off the designs of independent artists??

Jenny: that was such a wonderful story! i still want a pinata too! i think that's what that wonderful anchor may be : ) fingers-crossed! did you ever put one in the trees??
ReplyDeleteJulie: thank you so much for your feedback! it means so much especially coming from you since you are amazing at design :)
Jeanie: UO actually buys wholesale from artists. it gives artists a chance to actually profit. that's what they did for confetti systems and my friend, charmaine olivia, sells her prints through their apartment shop where they showcase thousands of independent artists ~ you should definitely check it out :)
Wow, lots of j-names in this commentary!
