neon geometric wall art:: jenn smith of upper tiny
i wanted to start everyone's monday off on the right foot so what better way to do that than with jenn smith's, of upper tiny, playful neon tree slice art?!
thank god for etsy circles because i seriously find some of the greatest sheeeet from friends of mine on there. they have amazing taste as you can tell. i think this fantastic find was unearthed by rachel.
so i am lovin' jenn smith's work for many reasons:: color, simplicity, shape and canvas. oh, and did i mention she's also representin' chicago with me? here's what she had to say about her outlook on art::
"I love art that is funny, and generous, and doesn't take itself too seriously. My favorite artists are outsider artists, people who say they can't draw, and little kids."
i think that's great - and jenn - i think your work is great! i would love to have it all over my studio!

right?! i love outsider art, children's drawings and people who say they can't draw as well - i love that she totally owns it and has it as part of her statement!
DeleteI love the idea of neon colors combined with earthy (literally) colors. I would love to scoop up the first one!
