blogshop video :: photo diary

yesterday was truly an amazing day. here were some of my snaps from blogshop video in chicago. we were happy to be the guinea pigs for this new offering from bri emery and angela kohler. they were amazing teachers. we learned tons of tricks with cs6. the most amazing part was i left the class reignited with excitement for one of my old passions: cinematography. 

rather than straining my eyes, editing films frame by frame in final cut...i was able to do the editing on an entire clip in mere minutes. it was spectacular! totally worth my money. i cannot wait to test out some videos on here! you'll be my guinea pigs for that one!

wasn't the space beautiful by the way?! i was enamored with the layout. we crashed the studio of we are the barkers -- an insanely creative team of chicagoans definitely worth checking out.

today's the day!! :: blogshop video

wow! i can't believe how quickly today crept up on me!
i am so excited to be attending the first ever blogshop video with bri emery of designlovefest.

since i studied film during college, i am extremely intrigued to learn more about editing actual video in photoshop cs6. it blows my mind just thinking about the possibility of layering in that puppy! my focus while studying was cinematography...let me just tell you how intense it is to actually edit the look of one scene...frame by frame. it's grueling. it's a labor of love. i'm hoping photoshop cs6 will make this process a little less intense and a bit more fun.
