sam is home for tangram

talk about oozing with talent.

i have always admired sam of sam is home. her breathtakingly stark yet lush photographs of everyday life :: people, environments, products, etc. she makes everything look so graceful and intriguing. so i nearly flipped my lid when i saw the new lookbook photos she did for the lovely tangram. the shoot was at tangram creator, paolo's, home - which is so lovely and eclectic that it just adds to the playfulness of her pieces.

they remind me of eloise at the plaza {the movies}. my sister and i still watch the christmas one every year. eloise is just so cute and sassy. AND this girl is so cute and sassy as well. she doesn't even know how chic she is with her circular powder pink shades, neon clothes and illustrated animals.

kelly love's new a//w 2012 collection has me super-lusting every single piece!! the lines and patterns are so dainty and fun. needless to say, i hope to own the above pieces before fall!

in the depths of the forest a bittersweet tale of love and loss weaves its way into the land.....

take a journey into the romantic darkness of the russian woods with rich earthy colours, enticing textures and snippets of folk tales as inspiration.

exotic wildflower prints wash over cotton tensel, boucle wools are adorned with corded lace & piping while the signature sandwashed silk gives the collection a sumptuous feel.

ladylike midi dresses, high waisted cigarette pants, classic blouses and the labels iconic jumpsuits are  constructed from a palette of blood red, nude, french navy and dusty blue.
