neon barbarella :: sculptural jewelry by katharina moch

if barbarella had a jewelry line, i'm pretty sure she'd have echoed katharina moch's collection.

wanting to create flamboyant, sculptural and wearable pieces, moch decided to have a little fun with the aspects of both appeal and repulsion in each one of her creations. she wanted her accessories to attract attention and demand self-confidence.

well boy do they ever! i am absolutely fascinated by the organic shapes, bright colors and whimsical patterns.  i would totally wear that shoulder piece as well. it's insane.

her studies in metalsmithing have certainly come in handy for this line as well although not entirely noticeable upon first look of the construction. her pieces consist mainly of::
citrine
plastic
cubic zirconia
plastic
enamel
copper
silver
