superpower :: ultra-sleek bohemian

ooh la la! i believe that this outfit will help me be ultra sleek -- as in superpower ultra sleek and stylish. i think that would be a pretty nice superpower. imagine never having to question your outfits again! does this match? is this too tight? does this make me look like a lady of the night?

okay, so maybe not everyone questions their choices as much as i do but it would definitely take about 15-20 minutes off my prep time in the morning. my next superpower would then have to be neutralizing loose bunny hair because i am literally covered in it when i walk out of the house thanks to snuggling the buns before i leave.

now this outfit is just about perfect but i would like to make note that i would probably also include some thick knitted tights with this ensemble and a chunky beaded or metallic necklace that just about drapes the neck.

there were soooo many amazingly stylish people at renegade this past weekend. and if i didn't have to be representin' wanderlustings, i could have chased them all down.

did i mention, i am very shy when it comes to asking people if i can take a photo of them. lydia was so funny because she would see someone and say: can my friend take a picture of your outfit - thank god for lydia! i need to get over that for sure.

and kristen was sportin' the tights with sandals. i wish i would have gotten a better pic of her platform sandals - they were adorable.

well, needless to say, i started to notice a pattern. 

not just her freaking awesome shoe collection, but her overall 

style in general. she acts like it's a piece of cake to stand on a ladder 

inspecting crystal chandeliers in stilettos. wtf?? 

can you tell i'm more than a little jealous??
she makes my style look plain lazy.

picking out flowers, unpacking boxes, 

going to flea markets - she does it all with uniquely 

impeccable style. 

way to go kelly - style icon to the max. 

oh, and did i mention she's a mother of two 

little boys?! sheesh! i have no idea

hello there!

i decided to share some of the outfits

i've been wearing to keep things interesting.

one item, in particular, has me swooning lately.

this h&m satin swan print top.

it's so eerie and lovely at the same

time. and it gets even better...

how you ask?

it was only $12.95

crazy!

so i paired it with a poofy

satin dress from forever 21

{more specifically, their

boutique line: twelve by twelve}.

which really complimented the

asymmetrical hemline of the top.

which brings me to the necklace that i made

the other night. i love it! it's my new favorite

accessory. and i know that as a designer

they say you're not supposed to

design for yourself but your

customer...well, i just can't

help myself!

i never understood that anyway.

lastly, i couldn't decide what

shoes to wear. both were such cute options

that i wore them both that day.

who says we can't have it all?
