i could not believe how in-depth and professional kelley and her right hand man//fiance, sean were. it was incredible. they work tirelessly around the clock working day jobs, going to school and then managing majestic disorder in their 'free' time. i have an immense amount of respect for those too. the amazing thing about it also was that despite the fact that we shot film, video and went through the entire interview for almost five hours straight, they made it so enjoyable and creative. i was delighted.

i couldn't imagine a more perfect day! thank you kelley and sean!
in other news, i finally feel settled into my new-ish apartment thanks to this interview. i had been putting off hanging paintings, etc. for weeks but the fact that majestic disorder would be shooting me in my 'habitat' gave me a reason to finally commit to a design plan. below is a shot of my main work space all tidied up of course.
some things that i love about this little nook::
- the colorful patterns that surround it {via my curtains and chair}
- a {severely treasured} watercolor painting of my rabbit charlie by my former boss & dear friend emily
- my harry potter page to screen book as well as the collector's edition tales of beedle the bard
- rikka sormunen artwork book entitled big mother - i'm simply nuts about her work - i want to plaster my walls with it
- vintage silver swan statue
- lula magazine covers
- records - especially a lucky brigitte bardot find
- book of erte fashion
- bunny figurines from my sister
- my record player
- jewelry tools of course
- cards from family and others i love
- sketches of new designs i've imagined
